Fall is just around the corner, and with it are coming some great films! Here’s a list of what I’m excited to watch this fall, in order of release date.
-————
Tár – Oct 7th
Todd Field’s drama film Tár tells the story of orchestra conductor Lydia Tár, played by Oscar winner Cate Blanchett. Lydia becomes the first female chief conductor of a major orchestra in Germany. I’m excited for this film because I love classical music and I love watching stories of musicians.

Ticket to Paradise – October 21st
In this romcom, staring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, a divorced couple teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. I’m excited for this film because I love a good romcom and Julia Roberts and George Clooney are amazing together (Oceans 11, anyone?).
-———————————————
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – November 11th
The sequel to the beloved, Black Panther, Wakanda Forever follows Queen Ramonda, Shuri, Okoye and Dora as they fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. I’m excited for this film because Black Panther was one of the most enchanting movies I’ve ever seen.
-———————–
She Said – November 18th
She Said tells the thrilling true life story of Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, two New York Times journalists as they expose sexual abuse allegations against Hollywood’s most powerful producer, Harvey Weinstein. I’m excited for this film because She Said is a difficult yet important story, and the book was so moving.

Disenchanted – November 24th
This sequel to an all-time favorite, Enchanted, follows Giselle, Robert, and Morgan years later as they move to a new community, and Andalasia and the real world are thrown off balance. I’m excited for this film because I loved Enchanted and can’t wait to see Amy Adams reprise her role of Giselle!
